DME's membership structure aims to attract a mix of local, regional and international market participants to the Exchange. To ensure transparency in the membership admissions process, the criteria for membership is contained in the DME Rulebook and applications for membership are reviewed by the DME Markets committee. In addition to meeting the DME membership criteria, all members need to be authorised, recognised or otherwise permitted by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
